December. It is the month of spice, love, sharing, caring and happiness .... Yay! I am looking forward to baking more spice cookies, gingerbread man cookies and also the Christmas fruit cake. What about you?

Spiced Christmas cookies

• 1 cup plain flour
•  1/2 cup brown sugar
•  1 teaspoon cinnamon
•  1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
•  75g unsalted butter, chopped
•  1/4 cup golden syrup
•  White chocolate writing fudge, for decorating

Making beautiful things for others always make me happy inside and that is exactly what I do everyday without fail. I knit and crochet chemo caps for beautiful children in Care For Kosovo Kids. This morning, I was surprised by an email from the lady who has received the chemo caps. I sit with the laptop on my lap looking down at the pictures of the beautiful children. Their smiles means everything to me. Have a look at this picture.
